My approach
Where healing
actually happens
Trauma-Informed · Person-Centered
Relational · Strengths-Based
I believe healing happens in spaces where you are allowed to be fully yourself. A space where you don't have to filter or perform, but can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or expectation. My role is to meet you there with presence, curiosity, and care, allowing me to be deeply engaged in understanding your story.
"I'm not a blank slate in the therapy room — I show up as a real, engaged person while maintaining the boundaries and thoughtfulness that make therapy both safe and meaningful."
I believe change happens within a genuine, attuned relationship, and I work to create a space that feels warm, non-judgmental, and truly supportive as you explore even the most vulnerable parts of your experience.

My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and shaped by a deep respect for your autonomy. This means I take the time to understand you in context - not just your symptoms, but your experiences, your relationships, and the ways you’ve navigated the world. I see you as the expert of your own life, and I trust your internal wisdom - even when it feels hard to access. I allow that to guide our work together, offering support, reflection, and gentle challenge when it’s helpful. Therapy with me is often described as warm, steady, and real, and it’s not unusual for there to be moments of laughter woven into the work.

I am especially passionate about working with trauma survivors, people who tend to think deeply and feel deeply, as well as individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and grief. I also work with those experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mood-related challenges. I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care and am a proud LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR is a central part of my work and offers a powerful, evidence-based way for clients to process and heal from trauma and distressing life experiences that continue to impact them long after they've passed.
About Danell Will
Outside of my work, I'm someone who genuinely enjoys slowing down . Quiet mornings on my porch, having one too many cups of coffee, and getting pulled into books and documentaries I can't stop thinking about. My family and I have called Northwest Arkansas home since 2015, and I still enjoy exploring all that this area has to offer, while taking any opportunity to travel and experience something new.

I'm naturally curious about people, stories, and the world around me, and that curiosity doesn't turn off when I leave the therapy room. I also believe in finding levity in everyday moments, and I'm someone who strives to laugh loudly and often.

Why
Willow Tree?
The Story Behind the Name
The name
The willow tree has long been a symbol of resilience, adaptability, and quiet strength. It bends without breaking, staying rooted while learning to move with what comes. It is also often associated with intuition, inner wisdom, and deep emotional healing - holding space for growth even in the aftermath of difficult experiences.
In many ways, this reflects how I understand the work of therapy. Healing is not about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with yourself - your strength, your insight, and your capacity to adapt and grow. It’s about learning to trust your internal wisdom, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
The willow has also been seen as a guardian of sacred spaces, which mirrors the kind of environment I strive to create in therapy: a space that is safe, intentional, and deeply respectful of your story. A place where you can explore, heal, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace.
"Healing is not about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with yourself — your strength, your insight, and your capacity to adapt and grow."
